What conditions does an orthopaedic specialist treat?

An orthopaedic specialist diagnoses and treats injuries and conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system, including bones, joints, ligaments, tendons and muscles. These range from fractures and sprains to osteoarthritis, tendon disorders and sports injuries.

Do I need a referral to book an appointment?

No. You can book an appointment directly with our clinic without a referral from another doctor. Our team will assess your condition and recommend the most appropriate treatment options for your needs.

What diagnostic tests are carried out during the first appointment?

Your initial consultation includes a thorough clinical assessment. Depending on your symptoms and medical history, your specialist may recommend diagnostic imaging, such as X-rays, ultrasound scans or MRI scans, to help establish an accurate diagnosis.

Do you offer non-surgical treatments?

Yes. Whenever appropriate, we prioritise non-surgical treatment options, including physiotherapy, therapeutic injections and regenerative medicine treatments. Surgery may be considered when conservative treatments have not provided sufficient improvement.

I wanted her checked out and a cortisone injection. ( last time she did this the injection had her back walking in 24 hours) From contacting April on reception to Sharon being treated everything done in 3 days. Perfect. I need a replacement knee, but on Friday I had a fall and twisted it. We arranged an appointment by WhatsApp, doctor did a full examination of my knee, discussed what damage I’d done then administered a cortisone injection. All very reassuring.
The clinic is spotlessly clean, like a 5* hotel, staff speak good English, very pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and the prices are reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend the clinic and would certainly use it again should the need arise
