Treatments

At TraumaCare Clinic we have a range of advanced and effective cosmetic hair treatments that help to improve the appearance and health of hair, as well as prevent future hair loss.

    1. Keratin microfibres: also called hair make-up, is used in areas where hair density is lacking or hair is very thin. These fibres are the ideal complement to pharmacological treatments for baldness. They are manufactured in different shades to achieve a harmonious and natural look.

    2. Micropigmentation:: is a colouring technique consisting of drawing hair by hair. It is applied with needles of different calibres to pigment an area of the skin to make it look fuller without artificial results. It is one of the most demanded solutions to improve the appearance of eyebrows.

    3. Hair prostheses: hair prostheses include both wigs and hairpieces. At TraumaCare Clinic we use these resources to hide alopecic areas where the hair has not been able to repopulate, in areas of the hair where there are still no definitive results when the patient is following a pharmacological treatment against alopecia or in areas where the optimum hair density has not been achieved.

These hair prostheses can be total or partial and are designed specifically for each patient according to their hair problem. The aim is to hide the baldness in the affected area, achieving an aesthetic and natural appearance. There are different ways of attaching these prostheses to the patient's scalp, either adhesive strips or mechanical fasteners. These fastening systems are designed to achieve a good hold without excessively tractioning the hair fibre.

In addition, the hair is selected from the same donor to ensure completely natural integration and movement in the patient. The manufacturing process is completely handmade and each hair is individually inserted by hand into the biopolymer.
