Stains
There are different types of skin blemishes that we at TraumaCare Clinic treat from different approaches, depending on the type and severity of the blemish. Some of the most common types of blemishes we treat are:
Melasma: Also known as chloasma, this is a condition in which brown or grey patches appear on the skin, especially on the face. Melasma is more common in women and can be caused by hormonal factors, such as pregnancy or contraceptive use.
Sunspots: Sunspots are brown spots that appear on the skin due to sun exposure. They are more common in fair-skinned people and on areas of the body that are exposed to the sun, such as the face, hands and arms.
Age spots: Age spots are flat brown spots that appear on the skin as we age. They are more common in fair-skinned people and on areas of the body that are exposed to the sun.
Post-inflammatory spots: Post-inflammatory spots are dark or red spots that appear after an inflammation of the skin, such as acne or a skin lesion.

Treatments
At TraumaCare Clinic we have the most advanced techniques in stain removal:
- Mesotherapy: is a treatment that consists of injecting small amounts of substances into the skin, with the aim of improving its appearance and treating different conditions.
Peeling: Through its application we exfoliate the upper layers of the skin by means of a chemical solution to improve its appearance. This treatment will reduce the appearance of skin blemishes, including sun spots, age spots and melasma.
Laser: Using the most advanced equipment on the market, at TraumaCare Clinic we use lasers to emit high-energy light that is selectively absorbed by pigments in the skin, eliminating pigmented cells without damaging the surrounding skin. Laser treatment is effective in treating sun spots, age spots, melasma and other pigmentation spots.
